Pachito Alonso

A talented musician who in 1972 organized its own orchestra integrated by students of the National School of Art with which he wins the grand prize UNEAC 1973 , then he recorded his first long-play album.

In 1979 he began directing the orchestra of his father Pacho Alonso and became the first Cuban artist hired by a European label and the only one who has performed for the Spanish Royal Family. He has performed in major events like the festivities Latin Grammy 2001; Playboy Jazz Festival , Los Angeles, 2002 , and the world famous Jazz Festival in Austin, Texas

  1. Pachito Alonso es el primer artista cubano contratado por un sello discográfico europeo (CBS Spain) y el único que ha actuado para la Casa Real Española.
