Bamboleo

Achieving the status of revelation Orchestra 1995 at the Grand Annual " My Salsa " television program where young salsa dancers compete, presupposes for Bamboleo an outstanding artistic work within the Cuban musical framework .

It was selected to represent Cuba in the XV Latin Jazz Festival ” Square 95 ” and Bamboleo won the title of revelation of the Year also at the Festival. In 2001 Lázaro Valdés, its director, won the Grammy Award as guested artist together with the group Tentation. They have recorded more than 9 discs for dancers.

  1. Durante estos once años ha obtenido la condición de Vanguardia Nacional 5 años consecutivos y otros 4 años Provincial, la Orquesta Bamboleo ostenta por segundo año la bandera Moncadista.
  2. Seleccionados para representar a Cuba en el XV Festival de Jazz Latino “Plaza 95”, Bamboleo se gana el título de Revelación del Año también en ese Festival.
  3. En Cuba son nominados a los premios Lucas llevándose la orquesta dos galardones por mejor Vídeo Clip Musical “Ya no me hace falta”.
  4. En el 2001 Lázaro Valdés gana el premio Grammy grabando como artista invitado junto al grupo Tentation.
